How does gellyball compare to paintball?
Gellyball pellets are soft, water-filled gel beads. They burst on impact, don't sting like paintballs, and they don't stain clothes. Way safer for kids and they evaporate within a few hours.
What ages can play?
We recommend ages 6 and up. Younger players can join with parent supervision. Adults love it too. We've run gellyball at 50th birthday parties.
How many players can play at once?
Up to 12 players in the included setup. We bring 12 blasters and 12 masks. Larger groups can rotate, or we can add a second field for an upcharge.
How much space do we need?
About 30 by 50 feet of open space, indoor or outdoor. A normal backyard works. Concrete, grass, or turf is fine.
Will it stain my clothes or grass?
Nope. The gel pellets are water-based and biodegradable. They burst into a small wet splat that dries clean. Wear what you'd wear for a water balloon fight.
Do players need to bring anything?
Just close-toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting wet (light splatter, like rain). We bring everything else: blasters, masks, ammo, bunkers, and a referee.
Can we do team games or tournaments?
Yes. Default modes are free-for-all, team battle, and capture the flag. Our referee runs the briefing and can structure a small bracket if you want a tournament feel.
What's the setup time?
We arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time. Field is up and ready when guests arrive. Cleanup is on us, takes about 20 minutes after.
